FAQ

Which class should I do?

Give Fiona a call to discuss which class would best to suit your needs, and there is always the option to try a class out before signing up.

Will you really be able to see what I’m doing on Zoom?

Yes, so long as you are positioned well, I won’t miss a thing! You should try and position yourself so that you are about 2 metres away from your device so that I can see you from top to toe from the front when standing and from the side when lying down (A laptop or an i-pad on a stand with an adjustable tilt angle works well) Classes are small (max 6-8 participants) so there will be lots of opportunity for me to give you feedback to ensure you are progressing. Using Zoom means you can still participate whether you are at home, working away, or on holiday, and you won’t have to factor in travel time, parking or child care! All you’ll need is an electronic device that will run Zoom, a mat to lie on and a small head cushion or folded towel. Some classes have options for using equipment such as the foam roller, over-ball and resistance band.

What if I have a particular injury or health concern?

Fiona is an experienced Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor and can help ensure you are exercising safely depending on your condition, and can also provide 1:1 Pilates sessions tailored to help you rehabilitate a particular injury before joining a class.

How do I book?

Once you’ve registered and established with Fiona which class you should join, you will be sent details of how to book. Classes are booked in blocks of 8-10.

What if I can’t make it to my class?

You may be able to make up the missed class at another class of a similar level if space allows. You should try to give 24 hours notice so that someone else can take your place if they need it.
